Trip Highlights
Why you'll love this trip
- •
Split: This vibrant seaside Dalmatian city is a must-see, beautifully set between the Adriatic's crystal-clear, aqua-coloured waters and a dramatic mountain backdrop. At its core lies Diocletian's Palace, one of the best-preserved Roman complexes in the world, where ancient stone walls enclose a lively maze of shops, cafes, and hidden courtyards. The palm-lined Riva promenade adds to the relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere, making Split a perfect blend of history, culture, and coastal charm.
- •
Mostar: Mostar enchants visitors with its iconic Stari Most, a graceful stone bridge arching over the emerald Neretva River. Here, you can watch daring local divers plunge into the waters below, a tradition that draws crowds year-round. The surrounding Ottoman-era bazaar, with its cobbled streets, artisan shops, and traditional architecture, offers a glimpse into the town's rich heritage and multicultural past.
- •
Sarajevo: Sarajevo is a captivating meeting point of East and West, where cultures, religions, and histories intertwine. In the heart of the city, Bascarsija's bustling streets are filled with mosques, markets, and the aroma of traditional food and coffee. Beyond its charm, Sarajevo tells a powerful story of resilience, most notably through sites like the War Tunnel, which offers insight into life during the city's siege in the 1990s.
- •
Dubrovnik: The lively city of Dubrovnik, enclosed by magnificent medieval walls, is one of the Adriatic's most striking destinations. Its beautifully preserved Old Town, with polished stone streets and historic landmarks, creates a timeless atmosphere. Walking the city walls reveals breathtaking views of the sea and terracotta rooftops, while the vibrant culture, rich history, and scenic coastal setting make Dubrovnik an unforgettable highlight of any journey.
